WWE Raw Recap (12th June 2017)

We open the show with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that this will be Joe's day of reckoning. He says that due to last week's actions Brock has a problem with Joe. He thought that Joe could stand up to Brock but he was wrong. He says that all the Samoans in wrestling want nothing to do with Joe but he did put over the Coquina Clutch. Joe has heard enough and comes out to sort some shit. He and Brock get in each other's faces and Joe attacks. Angle sends out security to break it up. They don't. The locker room clears to separate them. Joe fights them off and kicks Brock in the face. They brawl to the floor but are separated to end the segment. This was a great segment. They are building this feud really well at this point. I can't help but feel this should have ended the show.

Dean Ambrose vs Elias Sampson - Sampson treats us to a tune. This match wasn't great. It never really hit it's stride for one reason or another. Sampson picked up the win after interference from Miz. Why are they still feuding? It feels like they have been forever.

We get a Goldust promo.

Angle is annoyed at Miz but Miz says it was retaliation for last week. He then says that Ambrose wouldn't have got back in the building last week if Angle wasn't caught up in his own drama. More good points by Miz. Miz wants Ambrose fired but Angle tells him to sort it out himself.

Cedric Alexander vs Noam Dar - Bell rings, Lumbar Check, pin.

Roman Reigns will announce his plans for Summerslam next week. Wht should we care?

Bray Wyatt is here. The Cheater of Worlds. Follow the booty. He cuts a promo about Seth Rollins. It was mostly nonsense.

We get an interview with the Hardy Boys. They say they will win in tonight's main event.

There is a video hyping the return of John Cena on July 4th. Apparently he is a free agent.

Apollo Crews vs Kalisto - Another match between these 2. Short and average. Titus O'Neil is aggressively trying to recruit Akira Tozawa to Titus Brand. Don't do it Akira.

Miz tries to recruit Heath Slater into his entourage. Rhyno is annoyed.

All of the women's division come out and chat shit at each other. It was pretty terrible.

Sasha Banks, Mickie James & Dana Brooke vs Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax & Emma - Short match where the returning Emma, who is a very good wrestler remember, does the job. Much like this sentence it was pretty not good.

Finn Balor video package.

There is a pre-taped interview between Bayley and Corey Graves. It was OK I suppose but it didn't really do anything to make Bayley look less like a naive idiot. She needs much more rehab than this.

Heath Slater & Rhyno vs The Miz & The bear from last week - Wanky nonsense.

Neville vs Rich Swann - This never started as Neville just beat the shit out of him. He told Akira Tozawa to watch himself. Neville is great.

Enzo & Cass vs Anderson & Gallows - Cass was laid out again but wanted to fight. They insinuate that he may have a concussion. Common sense there. It's short and A&G pick up the win over Enzo. Post match, Big Show comes to save Enzo and Cass is pissed at this.

There is another R-Truth promo.

Enzo asks Show if he was responsible for the attacks. Show says no and calls Cass SAWFT.

Samoa Joe is interviewed about his confrontation with Brock. He cuts a promo saying that he proved Lesnar is nothing special. It's great.

Cesaro & Sheamus vs Hardy Boys (Raw Tag Titles, 2/3 Falls) - This was a good main event but they went with the extremely cheap double countout finish for the third fall. It was symbolic of this episode as a whole really. After the match Jeff wiped out the heels.

Thoughts

This was pretty awful on the whole. The only really good part of the show was the Joe vs Lesnar stuff. That's been great.
